Venus Marlin Fishing Lure
Venus has a heavily cupped face that is wider
on the front than at the neck. This lure design
allows pressure to gradually increase in front
of the lure until it becomes unstable and
"unloads" producing a violent head shaking
action as the lure moves through the water.
The Venus 13 inch Marlin Lure is an excellent
lure for running in calm water at 7-9 knots.

About "Low Center of Gravity" Lures:
A true running lure will have the proper hook set angle as well as presentation. Basically there is no point to having eyes on a lure if the eyes are looking at the sky! The low center of gravity allows your lure to look natural.

NOTE: I recommend the single hook rigs to facilitate billfish releases. A single hook rig is much easier to remove than a double hook rig.
