Red Pig Fishing Reels feature Aluminum frames available in Gold and Silver finishes. Each reel is made from solid bar stock, machined, burnished and anodized to achieve corrosion resistance.
Red Pig Reels feature a 2 Speeds a high speed at 4.1:1 and low at 1.8:1 ratio. The quick shift mechanism allows you to change to a lower or higher gear ratio to get the best performance while fighting fish.
Red Pig Reels feature stainless steel gears and shafts made from stainless steel, specially tempered, and hardened for maximum strength.
Eight sealed stainless ball bearings (6 on the 20 Wide) are used to get the best in smoothness and reliability.
RED PIG REELS Feature Carbontex Carbon Fiber Drag Washers which allow for a stable drag at strike and throughout long fights in addition carbontex fiber drag washers provide the necessary smoothnes for controlled line payout. Carbontex rapid heat dissipation and thermal stability allow for high durability, furthermore they are not affected by water intrusion, humidity, hot or cold air temperatures.
