At only 3.5 lbs., the Kristal 640 Electric Kite Reel features a new more powerful high torque electric motor with a retrieval range of 450 feet/per/minute. The electric reel’s lightweight, sturdy composite construction and its 8” x 7” x 5” compact size allows the 640 to be easily maneuvered and stored aboard your vessel.This reel makes an excellent bridge mounted teaser reel.
The 640 was engineered specifically for kite-fishing as well as pulling teasers. Its powerful 12-volt motor draws only four amps and is perfect for light to heavy wind applications. Engineered from the ground up, Kristal 640’s 20-amp fuse is protected in a sealed compartment tucked away from the elements.
The 640's performance has been perfect for the deployment and retrieval of all brands of fishing kites. The light weight design makes this the ideal electric kite reel. Normally fished on trident rod holders, the reel's light weight allows it to be easily moved when it comes time to move the "circus" from one rod holder to another. The 640's light weight makes this a very compact and easy to relocate kite fishing station! I am very pleased with this reel and I recommend it to my customers who seek a dedicated kite reel for use aboard their vessels.
