BMC Weighted Non-Slotted Kite Markers Complete with Color Coded Fishing Rod Labels

Our weighted non-slotted kite markers allow the angler a point of reference when fishing live baits off the kites. In addition to facilitating the visualization of the lines, our kite markers come in 3 different colors: Red Yellow and Green. 

The BMC Kite Marker Set features 12 each of the 3 inch markers and 12 each of the 5 inch markers.  

3 inch Markers:

Smaller 3 inch markers are great for larger baits such as Goggle Eyes, Blue Runners, and Pogies. Due to the larger size, these need less weight when dangling from the kite, hence the need for the smaller markers.

5 inch Markers:

Larger 5 inch markers are slightly heavier and ideal for smaller baits such as Pilchards, etc.

Our weighted non-slotted kite markers allow the angler a point of reference when fishing live baits off the kites. In addition to facilitating the visualization of the lines, our kite markers come in 3 different colors: Red Yellow and Green. This color coordination is well known and already committed to memory, these are the same 3 colors found on all traffic lights.

We like to setup our live baits in this fashion:

Red: on the top outermost bait closest to the kite

Yellow: on the middle bait

Green: on the lower bait, closest to the boat

In addition we also label our rods with colored tape matching the kite markers. This color coordination helps to organize and facilitate the methodology employed when deploying the baits and fishing live baits off the kites.
