Fin Nor 20H High Speed Retrieve Offshore Conventional Reel
Versatility and strength define these new star drag reels from Fin-Nor. Designed with fast and powerful retrieve ratios, large line capacities and incredible drag strengths, these reels work great with both monofilament and braided lines, and are designed to successfully battle the variety of big offshore fish.
Three sizes are available with two different retrieve ratios. These 16 lb., 20 lb., and 30 lb. line class size reels each come in a superfast 6.2:1 gear ratio, or a more powerful 4.3:1 retrieve rate. Whether you are targeting fast kingfish and wahoo, or more powerful yellowtail, amberjack and grouper, these are the perfect reels for your type of fishing. Strength has been built into every aspect of these reels, including an oversized main gear and anti-reverse, and 5 stainless bearings.

This is an ideal low cost rod and reel combo perfect for fishing live baits off the kites, drifting, as well as slow trolling. Our Sceptre Tournament Series Rod features a fast taper with lots of back bone. The Fin Nor 20H features a fast retrieve that will allow you to gain line quickly. Fin Nor's star drag features a click through setting that may be set light for the perfect drag. I have been fishing the Fin Nor 20 H since last season. This reel is a true performer. I have caught both kingfish and sailfish and it has performed flawlessly. Fin Nor also has a 16H as well as a 30 H, however the 20 H is the perfect size for fishing live baits. I have my reels spooled with 20 LB Test Sufix monofilament. At 420 yards the 20 H has the perfect line capacity for live baiting.
This picture was taken on 1/3/2009. Here is our new friend Rob hooking up on his first sail ever! From what I gather, he will never return to New York City ever again, we got him hooked! Rob is fishing with my Sceptre 7 FT Live Bait rod and the Fin Nor 20 H. I have been fishing this combo since last season, and it has performed flawlessly. This particular Sceptre Rod was our 2008 Miami Dolphin's Fishing Tournament Special Edition, which featured Orange & Teal wraps!
