BMC Tackle's Parachute Sea Anchor is ideal to slow down your drift while fishing live baits. This is our BEST Sea Anchor. The large 5.5 ft. diameter parachute acts as a FAD. Given the proper positioning of a chum bag, the pulsating (squid like) action of the Sea Anchor produces an enticing "spewing" of chum which produces a thicker well distributed chum slick, attracting many gamefish to your boat. This sea anchor/drift control device is strictly for controlling your drift, and is not meant to be used as a foul weather sea anchor.
If you are looking to control your drift when fishing offshore, the BMC Sea Anchor is an excellent inexpensive alternative to other more expensive drift control devices.
